New shocks in Megan Coilovers?

Anyone ever wonder if any other companies made a shock that fit in the megan coilovers? Like Koni's or KW or AST?

 

Did you register your coilovers? You get 1 year free "rebuilds". They'll send you a new insert and you send the old one back.

I want one that doesn't suck lol

We need to find someone local to rebuild and re-valve them lol

 

I think I'm going to buy the BC cartridges and pop those in.

 

I dont think they will fit. I have the BC's on my car now that replaced the Megan's and they were different in diameter and spring lengths were completely different between the two.

 

Hmm yea...I see that now. Went to a bigger shock.

 

When Greg worked at road atl (panoz) he said the suspension guy who rebuilt the race car shocks for them said he could do his Helix's. But I don't think he ever did. And since he doesn't post on here anymore I dn.....

I contacted BC racing and they can source me their v1 cartridges with custom valving. $95 each.

 

Dude, that is like $400...save some money and just get the BC's. CALL josh at importimage...he will take care of you.

 

The BC's are over $1k though. The only problem I have with this setup is the valving. It'll only cost $400.
