watch out for full boost part throttle with that mbc.

better yet get rid of it and get some kind of EM.

welcome to the site, we're some good people

Yea i think i've had it happen and some of my piping from my FMIC blew off. But it is where there are rubber cuplers instead of silicone. i plan on getting a EBC soon to help with that and i have already turned the boost way down to keep from having it happen again. I am also going to get all silicone cuplers soon as well.

it gets you to higher than stock boost levels at when you don't have the pedal all the way down.

so the computer is thinkin that you're at lower than boost than you really are, in turn not giving you correct (read more) fuel levels causing a lean condition.

pull the mbc, forget the ebc, buy a cobb ap, get better and safer results

Alright thanks for the info. Ill pull it ASAP so i don't fry anything. And the Cobb will basically be like a flash for my ECU correct? Giving me higher boost levels and changing my fuel and air levels to accomodate for the higher boost?

Best for these cars is to take it to a tuner.

Yea i've seen the AP before or at least a picture of it. It looks nice and compact too. And i know a tuner would be best especially since i have so many mods on my car. does anyone know if HPtuners works with our cars?
