Hi all! I've spent my time scouring clubwrx.net and Nasoic and decided it'd be a good idea to expand and check out Atlanta.

TopSpeed is where I plan on getting tuned soon so I wanted to do some reading in the neighborhood and see how other owners' dyno's went at the shop and I have to say... It's all Very impressive:cool:

I've got an '04 STi with an ECU-Tek Reflash (mild 91 octane map)
Deadbolt VF39 turbo ported and ceramic coated
    Helix up-pipe w/ flex joint
Turbo XS TBE, 4in-3in downpipe w/3in downpipe back, running catless
    Walbro 255ph Fuel Pump
    K&N Typhoon

It had the 91 oct flash because it was originally a Cali car. Now i'm owning and driving in FL where 93 is abundant. I think it's hurting my numbers at the moment.

What can I expect with a newer, more aggressive flash and a tune at Topspeed?

Thanks, and looking forward to being a part of the club

i havent seen anyone run the ported and coated vf39 on their STi... last dyno day, i believe the 04 STis with similar mods made numbers in the 310-330 range

i had my car tuned at topspeed and the overall #'s were 368 whp and 359 ft/lb torque...overall doug knows how to tune a car but if you need much more than a tune take it somewhere else...also do a search for topspeed and that's probably the best way to find out what other people think of tuners and vendors like topspeed. again i cant say anything bad abou doug or his tuning abilities.

If you want the best possible tune, I suggest SS (Scott Siegel) @ SOG. Not to mention you get what you pay for excellent tune and learning experience all at once. You go with him on the road tune and it is exciting as hell.

They may have spent 45 min tuning my car when I went to TS and several hours on my most recent tune with SS!

Thats also true because it is much less time consuming to tune on a dyno than on the road

It'll be a couple months before I make it up there, but I can't wait. Thanks for the inputs!

I've decided on TopSpeed because of the tremendous feedback I've read AND because of their timeliness and price. I know I could go elsewhere for a potentially more involved tune, but TopSpeed will suit my needs just fine.

I've got the mods listed above and I don't plan on upgrading the Turbo or IC anytime soon, so getting a reflash and tuning to get all i can out of what I have is perfect.
