Alright guys looks like ill be selling my wheels soon, and looking to purchase some XD9's in either White or Matte Blue, they both look good but don't know if it will be too much white since i have an 04 wrx Aspen White already???

What do you guys think? Also im getting 18x10 +38 all the way around, have any of you guys ran wheels these big on a wrx? If so did you have to do a lot of pulling and rolling?

And another thing, what tire size should i run????? 225-265/40/18 Keep in mind i don't want to run flares lol

    Why 10's then? I run 225's on 7.5" wheels

My biggest problem with the wide wheels on a WRX especially is the load it puts on the already weak wheel bearings.

I'd do blue over the white

Def don't do a 225. It's too much stretch. I ran a 255/35/18 on my sti with 18x10s. A lot of wrx guys run 235s, but really depends on the tire brand. Also lower offset will give u more stance.

Do you happen to have a pic of your car when you ran 18x10?? and what offset did you run??

    I run 265/35 on my 18x10 +38
minimum you would want to run is 255

Edit* This is also completely dependent on tire brand. some brands just tend to run wider/ "rounder" at the side walls.

Yea the BRZ/FRS are a bit wider than the WRX. I don't think a 265 will come anywhere near fitting on the GD chassis without some pulling. Fits the BRZ like a gove tho

I thought on 10" the lowest you'd want to run is a 275? Highest would be 295

You are correct, been talking to a lot of owners with 10x18 +38 and they are telling me that they are having a lot of tire rubbing with the GD chassis, which means i might end up getting a 225/40/18 and stretching the tires...

This is one of the guys i've been talking to and he has pretty much the same setup that i want...he's also running 7mm all the way around without extended studs..which isn't safe correct??

stretched tires in general aren't safe, and are just stupid in my opinion, they don't even look good.

that car would look better without white wheels and all the stickers down the back glass.

don't forget to roll the fenders too.

Everyone has their own opinions, but i understand were your coming from but i have no choice if i don't want to get flare or run biggers tires and start having rub issues....But liltoua showed me some aspen white wrx wit matte blue XD9's and for some reason they don't look good, which is the reason why i have decided to get white or bronze now.....

If you do it right they can fit and not look stupid, just requires proper fender rolling. I can run a BFG KDW 2 255/35R18x10 with sedan fenders on my wagon.
