the mod where you almost put your mtn bike through your front windshield is ill advised.

Anyone replace one and know how much it costs?
    SoG,
    reputable glass shops...

i'm in buckhead and using the bike as transport til said windshield is fixed. as funny as wearing my winter goggles would be with no front windshield i think im gonna pass. somehow the mtn bike is fine, go Specialized

"it should fit" usually isnt followed by somethin good...

Talk to you insurance company, but don't tell them it was your mountain bike that destroyed your windshield. Usually they will cover one windshield per year. Just a lil helpful advice. I'm assuming they would give you a rental car during that time as well.

As for where, I got no clue sorry.

i *think* it's in the range of 300$. my boss had to have one replaced and that's how much it cost (install included i think).

PM Brian, I believe he just got his windshield replaced thru SOG. I seem to remember a thread floating around here about a Hairy Mole. :ddirty:

I used Glass Doctor recently and they charged me 450 total (parts and labor). He said the particular windshield for the Impreza is pretty pricey, in fact, more so then some Mercedes windshields...don't know if that's true or a way to make me feel better after they took my money. :)
