Though I am not sure I will ever purchase a Mitsubishi, I am excited that diesel may be (slowly) becoming mainstream. I think this could be a potentially potent car, but also as the potential to be obnoxiously expensive. Not to mention possibly a reliability nightmare?

I am still saving my pennies for a BMW 335d. :wiggle:

Diesel will never make it big over here like it is overseas as long as the gov't doesn't mandate it.

I find it absurd that diesel costs more than 93 octane gasoline....it's a freaking by-product of gasoline itself.

Let the gas prices soar north of $6 a gallon and I bet diesels will be just as popular in the US as they are in other Countries.

funny thing is with the gulf problems, the gas prices have actually gone down SIGNIFICANTLY around here. I saw $1.99 a gallon the other day
