Should I get a D40 or D50?

 

I couldnt imagine shooting with only 3 focus brackets hnoes:


D50 man, you wont be dissapointed.

 

If you're shooting RAW (I would hope you are) that 3 pic buffer on the D50 is pretty limiting at times (the D40 has 9). Hell, even my old skool 10D can buffer 9...

 

You can also look into the pentax k100D and K110D. Smaller buffer also (though not as small as the d50 or 40 and with the k100 you get in camera shake reduction. Additionally, the K100 is compatible with any Pentax lens ever made...I will b e getting one next week...

 

In what situations have you all used up the full buffer when shooting raw?

 

Pretty much any kind of action would kill that tiny buffer with a quickness; motorsports, soccer, you name it..
