No Oil Cap = More Power?

Well I guess it’s a good way to get rid of some excess heat from the motor but I don’t about this. I'm in the middle about this one....

 

hahahaha. we have a PCV system for a reason. might relieve some crankcase pressure (lots of old hotrod dudes plumb in vacuum pumps to help seal the rings better), but I wouldnt see it doing that much.

 

I would worry about a bug or something going through the scoop and into my head... that would totally be my luck.

 

Does it act like a breather? I have seen the little filters attached to the heads of a lot of Hondas. I thought they were CARB illegal though.
