First of all take the caps lock off, its not nice to yell.

It may be your rear differential.

What do you think could be causing it, could it just be the fluid is low, any suggestions.

Go talk to subaru of gwinnett. There has been a service bulletin about it, and iirc they add dampers to the rear differential that will fix the noise.

I get that occasionally but it was a lot worse when I was first learning to drive the car and slamming gears.

Is it a whine noise or a scratching noise?

Its kind of both a whine and scratch. It might be my aftermarket clutch.

I will, but i did talk to a buddy and he mentioned that it may be the fly wheel my not be lined up right.

The noise your hearing is not coming from the tranny... if there is any noise it is most likey the clutch :) As for the tranny not being lined ... the is only one way it will bolt into the clutch disc.:hsnono: If it isn't lined properly it will not go into the car. Lastly about the flywheel it was not touched when we installed the tranny, the clutch and flywheel remained on the car all we did was pull your broken tranny and install the brand new one.

If you still think you are having tranny issues feel free to stop by and we will take a look at it. :bigthumb:

    Edited: for emotional humor

First off i think you took my message the wrong way, i never said the noise i was hearing had anyhting to do with what you did. i am almost positive the noise i heard was from the guy who put in my clutch which would be transmission specialist. So if you think i am complaining then im not i was just wondering if you could tell me what was actually wrong. If you want me to bitch i can bitch about my tranny plug being left loose. I have no problems with the work yall did. like i told tray when i picked up the car it drove better than it did the day i picked it up. so i apologize if you think i was bitching about yall.

Its sometimes hard to understand what someone is saying online as there is no way to truely show emotion. I for one didn't think you were anyway trying to attack us. I was only trying to shed some light on your situation by what I felt was wrong with your car.

Hope this clears it up a bit.
