I just wanted to say "hi", looks like a great site. I've had my 02WRX about 3 months. Love the car, puttin in a boost gauge this weekend probably followed by a short throw shifter. Have a heavily modded 85 Mustang coupe also. Can't beat the sound and torque of a 5 speed Mustang, but the WRX is funner to drive I like the fact that you don't see many WRX's, especially bug eyes, and I have the maroon color. Only one I've seen. DJ
LOL you mean Paulding There are a couple of really fast STIs and WRXs near youre house. Keep a look out for me White 06 Sti with a front mount. Matt
I used to go through Powder Springs all the time on my way to the Navy base. Now that I'm retired and have a real job, I'm only home on weekends. I'll keep an eye out for your white STI. I was over at ProSpeed last week to see about getting the Stang tuned, but I'm rarely over that way anymore.
Hey, welcome to the site! I too have a mustang heavily modded and as you say the scoob is much more fun. Let me tell you once ur scoob is heavily modded the stang does not stand a chance. I reserve the stang for getting really slideways
I said this in the other post, but I'll say it again. I'm glad the we have another mustang driver (coming form an ex mustang driver). Welcome to the community!
There is a red foxbody coupe with a big cowl hood and a 70mm single turbo over at prospeed right now, thats mine, I'm over there a good bit. Matt
I'm waiting on some AFR's, then I'm takin it there for a tune. Are you on streetcarforums? My username is SVT1629 on there, I had a 95 Lightning until recently. I'm thinking about going with a turbo blowthru setup down the road, I just want to get it on the road. It's been "in work" for almost two years. Here's some pics: And the Scuby:
They're both fun in their own different ways. There's just nothing like the sound of a Mustang, especially with a nice cam and exhaust. And of course the getting "slideways":eek3: But the Scuby is just a blast on curves, plus it rides nice and is comfortable. I have Sparco's in the Stang, and they're great seats, just not for very long. I drive the Scuby 800-1000 miles a week and love it. My wife calls cars like this one "feel good" cars. I look forward to driving it every day.
