What up guys? My names Cody, I'm 23. I am currently living in cumming with the rents. Just moved back to atl from Hawaii. Long story as to why. Ill be moving to dunwoody in a few months. Always been a fan of cars and like to think I'm pretty good with a wrench. My first car was a 06 civic Si. Talk all you want it was a great first car. Got it when I was 15 and took it apart about 4 times haha In Hawaii I drove an 06 CBR 600RR.

Anyway to the good stuff... I'm picking up my 13 obp wrx premium on the 17th! It'll be my first subaru! Stoaked! Just to be clear it's not dad or moms money. I've always worked for everything I have. Looking forward to meet new people and having a badass car! Ill post pics when I pick up the car and I'm going to start a build thread. Plan to go stage 2 and do some interior and exterior mods. Thanks in advance for all the help!

Welcome to the site man! Congrats on the new ride too, you're gonna love it.

I had a 06 CBR600RR that I had to sell to help fund my WRX purchase/project...I really miss that bike.

I know. Every time I pass a bike I just stare. Wish I could of shipped it from Hawaii! Too bad it was like 2k to do that. Dealer sent me a picture of my baby just sitting in the parking lot. I'm going to grab her on Saturday now instead of Monday! Can't wait! Already ordered a black Perrin fat shift knob and vinyl overlays for the emblems! Hoping to get the windows tinted next week. Anyone know where I should get the done?

Will do! I was going to school out there. Went for 3 years and then got caught up surfing and being a beach bum so I needed to get out so I could make something of my life. The island sucks you in.

    But seriously. Window tinting.. Where?!

$275 for tint!? I'm guessing you had them install premium film at that price.

I paid $550 for my 5 series. And yes, it was very premium. lol

P.S. very nice car, have fun with it.

For standard film I pay $150 and for ceramic I've paid $250. These have all been on sedans. IDK, paying more than that seems crazy to me, but then again I've never owned a $30k+ car, so that may have something to do with it.

yeah, i guess its not cheap, but id rather pay someone thats awesome where i know its going to be done the way i want. it was 3M w/warranty i believe.

Where are you located? The Tint Guy in Woodstock is amazing. He only uses 3M film with a Lifetime Warranty. Usually starts around 250 and goes up from there if you want 3M Ceramic or anything like that.

I've had a few personal cars done there, friends cars, and my Dad's car. No complaints whatsoever. They've been in business for a long time doing automotive and commercial tinting and they are very professional.

Awesome thanks for the help guys. I'm about 30-45 minutes from Woodstock but I've heard good things and out the tint guy before. I threw a vinyl over lay on and debadged the Rex yesterday!

I was looking at getting a 2013 wrx in the next few months. What is everyone's thought on the 2013 and do you prefer the hatchback or sedan? I'm going to be using it as a daily driver.

Yes the 2011 headlights do look better but I'm going to retrofit and black them out eventually anyway! I can deal with it for now!

I absolutely love it! The car had 6 miles on it when I bought it last Saturday and it already has 800 miles on it lol but that's also bc I had to drive back from charleston where I bought it.

    I swear I'm not dead

Hello all! Just want to drop a quick update.

It's my anniversary! I've had my car for a year now and man what an amazing machine! Over the year I've done a few things to her just when I have some extra cash. So far she has an Invidia catless DP, Invidia Q300, V3 AP, Kartboy short shifter, front and rear bushings, 4300k retrofit, blacked headlight housings, plasti dipped wheels, vinyl chrome window delete, yellow fog overlays, and third brake light vinyl overlay.

Here is a recent picture of her :)
