So, isnt ap TB = 15.8+-.05? the max i see is 14.7 and i saw it go up to 15.1 just one time.. anyideas?
http://www.wrxforum.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=11;t=002487;p=1 seems that kid had the same problem, well il check it out tommrow when its a bit drier.... if not il see about tightning the WG arm
I really wouldn't F with it until temps get down to low 80s or so. I had to do this when going to stage 2 (tightening the WG arm) but honestly it sounds like you're likely suffering just from the weather.
Would spending money for a tune in this heat make sense, and do people do say a "winter tune and a summer tune" Might be useful with wastegate issues with the VF39 also.
i saw 15.6 today +) its hard to get this smile off my face.. ok quick question waht exactly does targt boost mean.. as in it should be that from the tiem it spools to redline? or that should be peak? also, how come when i change realtime maps i cant see them in under the "current map" option, i just see the base map. but i know its changing maps casue i tried the anit theft and that worked.
I wonder if it would be worthwhile, and if so would somebody could a couple datalog examples with a quick explanation of the log output and when target boost is usually achieved for the wrx and sti.
you can never see real time map with the AP, it only display Base map. If you are not sure load it again (RM).
Actually, since you have the AP, download TARI and log wastegate duty cycles as well as anything related to turbo dynamics...
my wastegate duty cycles arnt normal at all. this is toooo weird i was lookign at someone elses and his WDC was up to 80+ by 1000 rpm mine is 0 till nearly 2k... weird wanna have a look moose?
It shouldn't really matter until you get to the point where boost would overcome the actuator spring... but post a log
It's the heat. I can't hit over 19.5 unles it is cooler than 95 out. I'm supposed to be hitting 22 psi but when I can only hit 19.5 the car is a pig (REALLY RICH AND BACKFIRES) and just doesn't have anymore power than a VF-34.
