Hi there, I'm asking to see if anyone has any spare 2.5inch diameter pipinng lying about from an old intake or anything. I need some so i can attach it to my stock airbox, and i have found one person on a different site with the right piping (an AEM intake) but don't want to pay $40 just for a foot and a half of piping. So if anyone has anything lying around please tell me. Thanks in advance :ddirty:
Naah home depot and lowes are full of PVC stuff and nowt else. The stock system dosn't have any straight bits so i just put the filter straight onto the box so although it may be getting hot from the engine it is also getting a load of fresh air driectly from the scoop. Besides it won't be much warmer than the previous short ram i had in there.
Go to pepboys.....they have prebent piping and couplers to make your own intake I'm just using a shortram with one of the hoodvents open so it can suck in cold air directly.
