Okay, so I just took a look and it appears while we have had a few gun threads, we dont have an official gun thread. Well, since I just picked up a new gun I figured I would make an official thread. Post up what you have! HK USP .45
Smith & Wesson .357 Air Lite Kel Tec .32 Kel Tec .380 Remington 870 12 gauge Ruger 10/22 stainless .22 Winchester 30/30 Had a Glock model 23 .40 cal that I sold. I had the .357 sig barrel for it as well. Also had a S&W Sigma .40 (biggest POS gun ever!)
do Blowguns count? I just picked up a 36"er at the last gun show! :keke: I can't afford the Semi-Automatic Benelli Shotgun...yet.
Browning 9mm, Colt 44mag "ANACONDA" 8inch barrel, Sig 45, Browning 20g over under shotgun, Browning 12g over under grade 6 shotgun, 220swift, 30out6, 2(22's), and one badass bee bee gun!!
Cossman 720 is all I have. I love going shooting but I have kids at home and would rather not have a gun. I'll buy bullets if somebody will take me to a range.
Ok, I finally got some pics (even though they are from my camera phone) I put 300 rounds through it without a hiccup today, and I love it. Pics: Hopefully I can get some better pics up sometime soon
I've shot the 3" with the extended magazine (essentially makes the grip fit your whole hand) I liked it 10x more than without the extended magazine, much less snappy and much easier to control.
.45 Colt Combat Commander 1911 .22 Ruger 10/22 Stainless Eeryone knows what they look like .22 Browning Buckmark Camper .38 Lady Smith for the wife/home
Holdon, you're saying the extended magazine makes the grip smaller? I wanted to get an XD 45 ACP, but the grip was slightly just a hair too big to be comfortable. Also, any suggestions for good handgun inventory locally? I've been to Bullseye here in Lawrenceville. thanks guys!
Glock 9mm may upgrade to the .45 everything else I want puts me on a list I dont want to be on.:eek3:
No, I am saying the extended magazine makes the grip longer, so it actually fits your whole hand. On the 3" version of the XD, my pinky can't fit on the grip, making it not my favorite gun to shoot. However, with the extended magazine, it adds in space for your pinky finger making it much better to shoot IMO EDIT: Heres a pic that will hopefully explain it better. The bottom XD has the extended magazine
I like the selection and staff at American Classic Marksman on P'tree Industrial in Norcross... it is where I bought my rifle.
Oh, and a good place to check out the selection is Nick's Guns on the corner of Canton Hwy and East Piedmont in Marietta.
Check out one of the next gunshows... http://www.gunshows-usa.com/georgia_gun_shows.htm Or The Gun Store 5093 Buford Hwy NE Doraville, GA 30340 (770) 451-4239
I was actually at The Gun Store in Doraville on Friday. My boss picked up a GSG-5 (MP5 replica that shoots .22), and I picked up a holster for my USP, and an extra magazine. Really cool place, with a really awesome selection. Plus some cool people there too
My brother told me Ed shot someone and went to prison. Also all my pistols are Berettas. and an el cheapo shotgun
I really would not be surprised by that in the least. He was hitting on some ones wife the last time i was in there. Least he knows me and knows that i buy things from him so I think i'm safe from being shot at Here are the current contenders (the mossberg is lonely in the corner): Kimber Custom 1911 M4A1 5.56 Carbine The silly thing is, both are the same price:eek2: I'm leaning towards the M4 but we'll see.
$2300 for the fully decked out long slide model is a bit over the top, but with a 2lb trigger that thing is like shooting a .22 in terms of recoil and target re-acquisition
get the Kimber Will...and let me shoot it when you do lol are you still carrying that full size glock? what holster system do you use?
Yea I still use the G21 although i want a true double action as my primary cary, mostly so i can stop practicing clearing dead rounds with random blanks in my magazine for the day when one of the primers fails and i need it to work. I have two holsters now and will get a third soon. I have the outside the waist black leather holster with a security snap down that some of the sandy springs police use (not the hard plastic ones). I also have an IWB one that goes at about 3 O-clock on me and uses the belt loops for support. I'll snap a shot tonight if i remember. I much prefer the external one but damn if the lady at blockbuster doesn't give funny looks when the jacket swings out too wide :keke: Edit: Here is one of em: http://glockstore.com/pgroup_descri...urn=?tpl=index&category_id=353&_IWB+Holsters/ This is the one i want to try out: http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/files/SuperTuck_untucked2.JPG
This is what I picked up last week http://www.blackhawk.com/product1.asp?P=410514BK%2DR But my lazy ass hasn't gotten my CCW yet, so it still sits at home... I was wondering how well the OWB would do for CCW though, especially with a full framed gun
as long as i have a jacket on it's fine but you will need more loose fitting ones. My puma hoodie prints clear as day so i wear IWB for that. Go get the permit now man. It took me 9 months. Or, get the fl/UT ones as they cover GA and some 36 other states. FL is my next permit in addition to the GA one.
if i read that link of yours correctly brett and the release tab is next to the trigger, don't point that thing at your dick when you're unholstering it. Release tab near trigger is something i don't like (this is coming from some one who carries a chambered glock though, not that 6 shooter hand cannon like in the picture)
guy at work recently got his in bartow county, took six days. $42 bucks, and the prints are electronic now. It's all done at the probate court
If you scroll over the far right picture (the tan and black gun), you can see more what it is like on my USP. The release isnt over the trigger, it is right on the base of the slide. Basically, it puts your finger in the perfect location when unholstering. Oh, and for the CCW, I am in Cobb Co., so hopefully it will be faster than 9 months. I do need to do it, and will probably get it done in the next few weeks
Krieghoff K-80 Trap http://www.krieghoff.com/images/stories/competition_shotguns/k_80/trap/bild.gif Ruger 10 22 Blued .920 barrel syn stock. Guess i need a pistol eh? The Krieghoff is sitting in a closet at home in Louisiana cos it's an heirloom and such haha.
LOVE the Kimber. My buddy has one and that thing shoots like a drewm. My fatehr-in-law has a custom Wilson. That thing is sweet.
shot the desert eagle. wasn't that impressed. don't plan on buying one, it's just a mean looking gun.
