  1. okay everyone can stop worrying
    i GOT NEW TIRES! ! ! ! !
i got nitto invos in 225 45 17. i read a lot of reviews and found a couple viper guys using them. i have about 200 miles so far on them in wet and dry and curvy roads and like them a lot.

*background for people not at install day*
when we put my tranny in we noticed a 1 inch difference in circumference of my tires front to rear. to get home i inflated the fronts to 40 and let the rears down to just over 30. EEK!

    Congrats you needed them bad!

  5. yeah they are the fix for the uneven tires (didnt even thing about it, they were on my 300 ish hp eclipse gst before so of course they were more worn than the rears). I ordered them monday and got them tuesday at trammell tire here in dahlonega. i got them for 113 mounted and balanced, which was cheaper than buying them online.
they are a weird ass tire though

good to hear man. id hate for you to have tranny problems since you just bought it.

  11. i know everywhere online was around 115, but then 40-70 shipping, plus mounting and balancing. it was a good deal.

i hear you man. it would basically ruin my life. lol thanks again for all the help. also, i have a technical question-why do we have to remove that clutch fork pivot bar before we pull the tranny? iirc i put it in the tranny, installed the clutch fork, and then installed it, do i not remember correctly.
