Well, I have decided that im going to keep my RSTi and continue to let it drain me of my money:keke:.

At the moment im running a ralispec version 6 non-ra gear set and 4.44 diffs all around. The gear set is stronger than a wrx but im thinking i want to play it safe and try and get something thats indestructable. I guess my twpo options are either a 6-speed swap or new PPG's. At the moment im leaning towards the 6-speed because i can sell my current setup and make back around half of the cost of the swap.

    What do you guys think?

what year 6-speed, and will the gearing difference be what you want?

i guess i was gonna try and track down an 07 gear box, i actually really do like the 5-speed but the fact that the 6-speed will end up beign half the price of PPG's is the reason im leaning towards that.

6spd if you've got the cash, although both should be damn-near indestructable.

Ok I voted without seeing the half the price deal. If that is the case, I'd definitely go for the 6. My only complaint about the 6 speeds is the short gear ratios, but that's probably mainly because I'm used to driving my wrx. If price is really that huge of a difference, I'd definitely go with the 6.

yes, the bigph i believe wasselling them. they run about 5k plus install plus those ere straight cut, i dont really want to worry about the noise. after i sell my current setup i can probably do the 6-speed swap for 2-3k max, that seems a lot better to me than the 5 speed even though i like the much longer gearing.

I voted 6 speed, but that if you want to keep dragging it, the 07 would definitely be the best option!
