For those of you who do not know, our fearless ex-leader, the one who recently moved on to bigger and better things, in a state where everything is just bigger and better, will be getting married next month. Since this person had a huge impact on this community, and developed great friendships with many of the members here on the board, I thought it might be a nice idea to come together to get him a wedding gift. What we are looking for is for anyone interested to make a donation of $10 to the Wedding Gift Fund. We would collect money via Paypal until a later date next month, at which point we will determine what can be gotten with the funds collected. I am not sure of the exact date of the wedding as of this moment, but will find out all details later today and update this thread. I hope we can all come together and do something nice for someone who had such a huge impact on this site. Honestly, without him, WRXatlanta would not be anything at all like it is today.

Who is the mysterious ex-leader that you refer to is it against the rules to mention his name? Congrats to his pending neptual!
There is nothing keeping us from saying his name, however, he does still log in occasionally. When he logs in, if he hits New Posts, there has to be many, many pages of new posts he hasn't seen. I am sure he does not read thru all of them, but maybe he does a search for his name. If he does do that, and his name is mentioned in this thread, he would see it, and be alerted to what we are trying to do here, and I would like to try and keep it a complete surprise.
No clue at the moment. Figured we would collect donations, then figure it out from there. I will call his brother to see if he knows of anything he wants. I can't even think of the last time he dipped into the Dawn. I am almost certain that I did it much more recently then him. Might be kind of tough with him either in Texas or India. If you want to make a trip to Texas to take a couple rips on the hookah, go for it.
