This morning my check engine light was on and the cruise control light was blinking so I went autozone and had them pull the code. I am getting a p2009 code which means the tumble generated valve single 1 (RH)- circuit malfunction (short).

    Probable cause:
Carbon deposits blocking valve operation - clean

    Open or short circuit condition

    Poor electrical connection

    Faulty tumble generator valve assembly

I am going to check these things in a minute. Does anyone have any suggestions?

So I went out to the car to find out what is going on. I have no idea what i am looking for. I'm goin to have to search for some pictures of what I am looking for. Is it ok to drive with this code?

That would be helpful information. I checked all the connections on the right side of the engine and noticed that one was a little loose. Once I made sure it was securly connected I started the car and the check engine light along with the cruise control light stopped showing. Guess it was just a loose connection.
