What happens if I pull the PCV valve and replace it with a T?

I dunno.....a brass tee. I'm not doing it now....getting a new PCV. WJM told me that my 1.5 - 2.5 qt oil loss in 1500 miles very well can be from a bad PCV. Totally forgot about that and SS just mentioned it to me the other day!

So maybe.....just maybe the EJ205 still has a little life left. :sx:

Still I'm building my motor soon as my check comes in....hehehe

Not what are you using to "t" it but if you do "t" it where is the other line going?

Isn't there 3 lines? One from each head and the other to the crank case vent? I'm coming straight from memory.

i gotta check, but if you're referring to the fact you just bought the AOS, i think mine's just T'd off. We didn't use the CCV, though...let me know if you want it.

I posted this before I got the A/O Separator much less thinking of getting it. I'm losing oil at a fast rate and I think the engine is going out as it's due for it. But WJM told me a faulty PCV on a Subaru will cause it to eat oil rapidly so I was thinking can I just get rid of it. Now I have a A/O Sep. so I can eliminate it.

Mods can you close this thread as my question is pretty much a moot point now ;)
