doubt i'll make it this year, as im halfway across the country. doing it big for F1 in lieu of Petit. have fun!

If I am planning on going for friday/saturday with my brother, the 2-day is obviously the deal. I figure we will get the tent camping deal as well. Now my question is, online there is "advance" and "gate" fees. I assume the advance is what you pay online and then gate is what you pay when you arrive. Right? Also, is there an opportunity to get on the track or in pit lane? Is that what paddock access refers to?
before the race you can get down to the paddocks....not sure about during the race. just before the race starts you can get on track on the front straight.
I hate that I can't go this year. I'm saving my vacation hours so I go to the Rolex 24 @ Daytona in the spring.
facebook invites sent out. if you came last year you should be invited. if you aren't on facebook and feel like you should be invited, drop me a PM. I think I got most everyone. basically, if I know you and I forgot you, I apologize. send me a PM and I'll get you the details
yes, i want to say i think petit will be its first 'major' race since its accident at lemans. could be wrong on that, but i'm very sure it's supposed to be there.
running but unclassified, should be the most interesting car at RA since the Can-Am days with that f'ing gas powered vacuum cleaner
Entry List has been posted: http://www.alms.com/sites/default/files/races/entry_lists/Petit Le Mans Entry_0.pdf P1 is going to suck.
they have another place for off site parking. looks like just north and south of the track I've heard the people at lanier raceway mostly suck. picking up the RV tomorrow night. heading up wed morning to set up camp. again, PM me for info if I didn't send you a facebook invite
free parking south and north of track on Hwy53 with free shuttles Lanier is closed and for sale, and yes former owner is a douche. Just ask any of the teams that raced there about the purse shenanigans
I'll be there, per usual. Heading up Thursday afternoon, as it's hard to get away from work for more than one day. Once again hoping to camp near the bottom of the esses. If you see either a black 02 WRX wagon with BBS silvers or a bluish gray CR-V with bigger than stock wheels and tires, feel free to come hang and have a few beers. On a side note, I got lucky this weekend and was offered reservations to eat with the Flying Lizard Porsche team tonight. Looking forward to that.
