Sure it only makes 17% as much power as the bugeye (14% on c16) but it is still fun to drive. I never get above 45 any ways on the daily commute so the lack of power doesn't really come in to play. Knowing that it gets 32mpg on 87 octane brings a big smile to my face The savings in gas alone will cover 75% of the payment once gas gets to 4 a gallon.
about 225-250 miles to the tank. It probably gets great gas mileage on a dyno but since it is in a shape of a box, the mileage isn't that great on the road. Still not a bad little car just has no power. It did have great brakes though Very easy car to work on.
My buddy got 30+ on almost every tank of gas in his xB. He didn't really drive it like granny either.
sniffle sniffle...i was just looking at mine in my garage..needs serious body work...but I loved my box..still do...one day will have back on road! congrats on purchase...mine is an 04..never had a problem till the assisnation...
This ones a manual and allegedly they get slightly better gas mileage. Mainly my wife will be driving it so no matter what it has to do better than the 9mpg the Suburban got.
I drove the shop owners xB when my car was getting the clutch a few years back and it was a fun little car for a daily. Very comfortable. However you do know that the Scion xB has one of the WORST side impact ratings ever? It was on the news and the shop owner saw that and sold his since his wife was the one driving it.
