Pics from Nascar

Well last weekend I was lucky enough to get Garage and Pit passes to the Nascar race. I must say being up close and personal with these cars gave me an appreciation for the motor sport regardless of how many people joke about it being left turn only and for rednecks. It was a blast!

looks like that was some fun stuff! Never been to an actual race but I went to Richard Petty Driving Experience one time...that was some good stuff!!! nice pics!!!!

 

Any idea how much the guys guarding the tire wall get paid?

 

I did Marlboro Hot Laps, got to ride in one for about 2 or 3 laps. It was such a short period of time, but it was draining. Just trying to hold your head up on those high banks with the Gs those cars are pulling gave me a lot more respect for Nascar drivers.

I still think it is a lame sport, at least to watch on TV. I would definitely be more down for going and seeing it in person though.

This year, they also have drifting in a Mustang!
