Pics of the wagon by request - Now with tinting goodness!! Thanks for the wheels Trey! Its on a hill so the front wheel gap is larger than when its flat. Next is tint.
congratulations... not only do they look good but they are light as hell and very high quality :bigthumb:
I agree. I edited the first post cause yeah, tint is needed. Tint and then I remove the roof rails. Or, I remove the roof rails first... dunno, we'll see. hnoes: Thanks. Yeah, the ride is MUCH stiffer now. I had oversized tires on the stock rims before, and I didn't realize how much roll oversized tires would create. I almost went with oversized tires again, but I realized that my car is no where close to lacking acceleration grip. AWD, duh! I can take corners at vastly increased speeds now. Its pretty awesome. The car is much more "tossable" now.
I definitely like the wagon. Black and gold is nice. I am in the same boat, just need the tint to "complete" the astetics. What % where you thinking about for tint?
Probably going to go with the darkest law will allow. It would really complete the black look. :wiggle:
That wagon is so badass, very similiar to Effrem's....except he has silver rims..I need to post a pic of mine as soon as I can get a digital camera...Nice pics... Mark
Looks good Andy! Thanks again!! Legal is 35% and looks great, any darker and you'll need chrome 22" wheels.
Did you ever get those wondows tinted ? The reason I bring it up is I was thinking of doing so but white might be different.
Pics of the tint! Thanks to MVP for the tint job on their "grand opening" day gathering. Next is removing the roof rails. (yeah, I go slow) Edit: these pics dont show off the tint... brb with better pics... Better pics! Oh, and I got legal on the front windows, and 20% on the rear windows (I keep junk in the trunk)
Yeah, its a little big but if the car wasn't black I wouldn't even think about a scoop that big and carbon fiber - it would be an eyesore to me. Every once in a while I think I should remove it, but form follows function for me and the cooling has got to be great.
Back from the dead with this thread. I bought the same car back from K. Marx and he took really good care of it. Came back with a 6MT from an STi, a stage 2 tune and all the supporting modifications. He also swapped out the gold BBS for some Silver, but I don't hold that against him. My family has always been against the gold. To get a baseline I took the wagon to Top Speed to get the dyno and it made 237 to the wheels. Which is pretty damn good for a stock 2.0 with 150K on the ODO... and here is the video while on the dyno. (loud) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lm3Aa02JFE&list=UUWdrVEm40YDO5BYOLITcv9Q&index=3
