Pics or Ideas on where to mount my AVCR in my 04sti...

I am trying to get some ideas on where to mount my avcr. I don't want to just stick it somewhere. I am all about clean... Thanks.

 

Hey what's an AVCR ? Is it a camera?

 

Apexi AVCR is a boost controller

 

Is that the little sliver looking thing? If it is, I have seen it done right next to the cup holder in that blank piece of plastic.

 

I'd like to see/hear some idea's as well.
Trying to figure this out myself.

Can't say that I've really searched on it though.

i have the same set up with my sexy HKS turbo timer.. wondeer where i will put my boost controller

 

For the short while I had mine, I just doubled mounted tapped it on my steering coloumn. Didn't look clean though.

 

personally i would see if you could get an audio shop to make you a fiberglass pod that fits down by the ashtray \cig lighter area. unless you have a router to make the frame and can do fiberglass yourself.

 

yeah "unique (speed channel) auto style"..{que tha faux marble}....but I think the height of the unit is the main fitment problem..?

 

i would try to mount it somewhere on the dash... i will end up getting one of these in the fall and i think its important for a boost controller/gauge to be in peripheral view when driving

Yeah we can still install it, i was just trying to get some unique ideas where to put it rather than just stick it on top of the dash somewhere....

Mine was the same way to begin with, then she realized that she'd rather
have me spending money on my car, then out drinking or at the strip club.
