    Love this H/U :tasty:

I'm holding off until after the springs/hats are ordered. It has gotten fantastic reviews. I have heard that the Bluetooth exhibits static at times. I have a Bluetooth headset and phone, so I won't be ordering this add-on. The iPod adapter is supposedly faster than others on the market. The ability to navigate the iPod directly with full text from the H/U is a must, for me.

How is the navigation? This unit definitily won me over with the onboard 30GB drive (20G for nav), rather than maps on DVD and the true GPS capability.

    Some reviews here...

There are a bunch of folks on IWSTI with this H/U...head on over there for more info, as well.

Keep us posted after they are installed.

its a really good unit, the navigation is as good as any, its quick, has telephone address lookup and regular lookup. The ipod isnt as fast as alpines, but still is one of the quickest, and it does have the full display. YOu will see a minor delay when scrolling.

If you register the unit with pioneer when you buy it they send you new updated nav disks for free every year, so thats a plus.

Its a good choice though if you have some extra cash and the whole nav/dvd thing is your thing. I personally am biased against them (i work at best buy) because ive had 1 pioneer and 1 alpine and just feel they are a waste of money(my own opinion).

Either way its a good choice and you will definatly be happy with it.

    cheers

everything about this unit works awesome has anyone fooled around with the vehicle dynamics on it like the acceleration and side acceleration. those are the most fun of the dynamics options seeing how many g's you pull around a corner. i'm trying to decide if i want to get the camera unit or not.

the vehicle dynamics is a cool feature, but i found it to be something that didn't really get my attention sadly. Its something that it could do without unless you are someone who continually is a drifter which isnt the easiest thing to do in a subaru. The camera is cool, but not needed really unless you drive a big suv or truck.
