And see what your results are, this is the host we will be moving to and I want to be sure everyone is cappable of getting a good response time to them. I am seeing mid 20's here. When I ping our site now, I am seeing 80s. What is ping? Go to start -> run and type "cmd" . then type "ping www.wiresix.com", obviously without the "'s.

I just got avg of 30ms by using GTwireless. Hopefully less with my Comcast cable. I missed the word "ping" When I was into the CS back in high school, I used to have 200-300ms ping. Then I got DSL, it dropped to 30-50ms. haha So fun when you play with modem users. BTW, I check our current website as well, I got avg of 65ms. I have zero complaints about our current server. I would say just stick with whichever cost effect for you, alex
41 average here on comcast cable, i am running a few bittorrents though... yea, the current site pings around 80 though for me too.
what's this "ping" thing you speak of?? :squint: From my home connection I get: low 40's to wiresix.com and mid-high 70's to wrxatl.com
I really doubt network latency is the issue with the site currently... we'll see how it does when the DB gets hit hard from page views.
