popping sound from right front wheel

sounds like the bearings are shot? anyone have experience and or knowledge they could share on a 03 wrx wagon? is this a advanced auto thing or do i need to get parts from the dealer. is it a pain in the neck?

 

does the pop happen when you turn the wheel?

 

yeah when i turn. or go over bump sometimes. but yeah like turning around in a culdesac

cv axle. $60 from Advance for a remanufactured one with lifetime warranty

 

cruise on over to Allpro and have them check the wheel bearings for play. Might as well do those if showing signs of wear

 

Could be s couple of things, u need to have it looked at bring it by topspeed and ill look at it for free and see what's going on. Also, I wouldn't put any aftermarket axles in a subaru... Just seen bad things happen when that's done
