So I was sitting in traffic on I-20 coming into atlanta, where they decided it would be a good idea to make the 3 lanes merge into one. I always get kind of angry at things like this because there will be a sign 2 miles before saying that the left two lanes end, but then some assmonkeys just stay in the far lane until the very end and then force themselves in front of the line. So anyways, I'm going about 20-30 when it finally opens back up and I get over back to the fast lane and in frustration stomp it. I was in second gear and all of a sudden around 4000-5000 rpms it feels like my power just hits a brick wall. Nothing electric went out (stereo or lights didn't flicker) and it's not like the clutch slipped, the rpms just stopped climbing. I upshifted and then everything seemed normal. I've tried a couple of times to duplicate it in second gear and everything seems to run smoothly. Anyone have any clue what could have caused the problem?
Wastegate out of rage? Did the CEL come on? Sounds like the wastegate out of rage though happens to me from time to time esp in cooler weather and mainly when you step on it in lower RPMs
Don't understand exactly what this means, out of rage? Did you mean range? If so, I still don't know what that means
