Dyno Chart incase you were curious. First run is just STi uppipe and Stromung 3" divorced wastegate downpipe. No tuning. I had the stock 3rd cat and resonator. Stromung 2.5" axelback with dual tips.
AP is same but different. same idea, different companies and software unfotunantley you may get slightly lower #'s since you have an automatic.
what u mean by automatic? i dont own any automatic car? but which is more important AP or Ecutek both do same thing but which one has a edge over another?
for basic bolt ons, i think ECUTEK or protuner are both equivalent... when u need to have multiple maps, then its time to weight the merits of the 2 AP: can have a lot of maps but changing them requires u to come to a stop, plug in the unit and change ECUTEK: can only hold 2 maps that can be switched instantly while moving... currently the only difference is boost but i have heard that ECUTEK is working on 2 true maps
not really sure but dont get too hung up on it... its just a number ... all that matters is how it feels and if ur happy with it

Well if you really want to do that then get a CAI uppipe catless downpipe highflow cat 3" exhust w/ mid pipe 3" cel fix bigger turbo bigger intercooler (tmic or fmic) new bov injectors ecutek new boost solenoid and maybe some meth and you should be around there
i think wrxguy went for peak, if u want the same thing but not peak u might not blow ur engine i'm looking to shoot about 250 -270 whp without blowing anything
Accessport allows multiple maps for all models it supports. However ECUTEK only has 2 maps for the 02/03 model WRX's. Dunno about the STi but you can't have two maps for the 2004. I think the same goes for 05/06 models but I have heard that Ecutek is supposed to working on that.
Thankfully we got that track video in before that I'm going to say just about the same numbers they did above, with meth, except about 10% gains.
I got 227whp and 230 torque. I would go with a road tune with scott. I went with a dyno tune. I will be going to get my car road tuned in late june or early july
