replaced the cracked turbo housing and found a loose ground (by the starter on the bracket). Guess I failed to double check everything after the tranny install.
Drove for almost an hour and no surging at all.

    now just a few pics.

    cracked housing and the replacement.

yay on the loose ground. Ima suggest that to Jason he's had a little stuttering problem too.

as bad as the crack is, I think it progressively got worse. I believe the ground was the initial cause of the stuttering and the crack amplified it. I remember hand tightening that ground but never did snug it up. It was LOOSE like 4 full turns loose.

That ground is only for the tranny. Mine is off completely too...well was.

My studdering was the homemade ram air. After Will saw me it fixed it. I did have a slight idle jumpyness which the new neutral switch fixed. The jumpyness was minor and lasted a second or two and then leveled off.

Rick I'm 100% the cracked housing was your culprit. That thing has pressure and leaks. Have a after MAF leak = RICH. ECU yanks fuel and so forth. Studder.

That's what you get for tightening the ever living crap out of that with a tbolt clamp :keke:

    Glad you got it fixed.
