im having trouble with my rear shocks i think i went from 16 to 18 inch rims and since then if i take a sharp turn the the tire scrubs bad!! and its only on the right(rear) side i know that the bigger rims makes a difference but it should scrub on both sides so i figured i have a bad shock so i was wondering where i can get new shocks and the best place to get a good deal and i want a half inch lift in the front and 1inch in the back

i had heard that they make a rubber spacer that u put on the spring that will lift the car a little..........Do they?

    buy the way i have 225 40 18s tires

    list
    1 new shocks
    2 half inch lift(front)
    3 1 inch lift(rear)

    so any suggestions

Your alignment is probably off. The side that doesn't scrub could have slightly more negative camber which would prevent scrubbing. Get a rear sway bar, its probably cheapier than everything else you have listed and it will prevent your car from rolling so much that it rubs. Avoid lifting the car, although it may increase the space under there, it will give you a higher center of gravity which will make your car roll more.

What is the width of the rim?

I sent you a pm back. Cheapiest to most expensive solutions are:
camber bolts/alignment (add more negative camber in rear which will tilt top of tire into fender more) < cut the fender lip with an angle grinder in the rear (you can really mess this one up if you aren't good) < swaybars (one is for sale here RSB 22mm) < springs (easy to find used on any forums).
