question about fuel tanks... was told ped, liquid force, wjm might know

i was wondering if the gas tanks in a 02 wagon and a 06 wagon were the same

 

I believe so. I would see what WJM says though. He'll know for sure.

 

I don't see why not. Fuel pumps may be slightly different, to feed bigger engine. Or are injectors the same? Chassis wise they should be identical but yeah I digress to William......

 

i was told that my sending sensors might be bad and if i buy this tank out of an 06 it will be cheaper then buying the pump and sensors

 

im just getting tired of everytime i drive the car just cuts power or bogs down and shuts off when gas is below half a tank

 

buy the tank assy, swap in the items from the donor tank into your and then keep whats left or sell off whats left.

 

I have a complete fuel pump assembly with an upgraded pump. I can sell the assembly for 25 or complete with pump for 100.

 

Edit - I thought you were talking about fuel level sensors.
