My Perrin UP came with new studs. Is it sufficient to just finger tighten them to the uppipe flange? It didn't mention anything about cranking them down, and I guess the only way to do it is using two nuts...

i really dont know, but personaly i would tighten them. you dont want them to back out and cause any leaks.

i would tighten them down as much as possible... the last place u want an exhaust leak is pre-turbo

i don't understand why u are worried about tightening them... are u worried about stripping the threads or something?

I agree, just tighten them till you feel comfortable, you're the one driving it. For me, I would crank em down as hard as I could with my own hands, nothing serious.

Nah, just trying to figure out if there'd be a point to really crankin' them down.

I'll snug 'em down enough to be happy and move on. :)

from my understanding, the tighter u make them, the less likely they are to loosen up in the future... i guess if u tighten them as much as u can with a regular ratchet, they should be fine
