So I know there are some R/C car guys on here. Anyone into SC trucks? I went and drove a friends and had a blast with it. Now I'm torn on which one to get. Any advice?
I race them on a fairly regular basis. What are you looking for in a SCT? The big 3 and the best supported locally are the Associated SC10, HPI Blitz and the Traxxas Slash. I am a big Kyosho guy myself. I have a Kyosho Ultima SC that I am working on(converting a staduim truck over to the SC version). Where will you be racing/driving?
I drove a Slash but I am an HPI guy at heart. So I am torn between an SC10 and a Blitz. I plan to race at VRP or RC Supercross. It will be used for racing most and a little bashing every once in a while. I have heard good things about the Ultima SC but haven't seen one in person yet. Where do you race?
I race up in Rome at TurtleTrax Raceway. I will probably be down at VRP in a couple of weeks and up at Loganville the week after that. We have 2 of the Ultima SC's up there. The Blitz is a solid truck and probably the second strongest truck out there behind the Slash. The SC10 and the USC will be pretty similar in reliability since they are both based on stadium trucks.
Well, I pulled the trigger on a SC10 today. Deal was too good to pass up. Now I need some LiPos and a charger.
