Went and fired the car up this afternoon, smelled very strongly of raw fuel coming through the ac system. Shut it down and it smells like raw fuel localized to the passenger side bank of injectors. Haven't pulled it apart to figure out what it might be yet. Any ideas? Maybe a cracked O-Ring?

Could it be the cold cramping up fuel lines... Issue that early wrx had.

I searched already, everything mentioned earlier models and not 06's.

Would that create the smell in the engine bay? Was very localized to the passenger side injector bank. Didn't smell anything near the charcoal canister in the back.

passenger side intake manifold beside inlet. the evap solenoid is located there and ties into the manifold, fuel rail vent line and turbo inlet. there is a blue plastic tee and the lines running off it are usually hardened from heat cycles and age. might be the source of the odor

or it could be from the flex lines in the stock fuel rails

doesn't matter the model year, they all have a tendency to do it.
