i juat put rear camber bolts on my 06 sti and they seem to fit weird... there is a adjustment clip on them that doesent seem to fit right... please help if anyone knows anything?
the camber bolts have a clip on them the i suppose is suppose to help adjustment on the rear camber. but the clip does not seem to fit corresctly.
it takes a little banging to get them in, but not the kind of banging that will bend/damange the clip. If u can't figure it out, i say just take it to a local alignmnet shops. Almost all Alignment shop carry those bolts and someone there will know.
Didn't want to make a new thread, Anyone heard anything about the SPC EZ Cam Alignment bolts? Good, bad, so-so?
^^ and you wonder why people give you grief? Why don't you start another thread with that question, maybe change that to Nohope for your location as its beginning to look that way for you. I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt but maybe you really do belong in AL
Just a simple answer will do. I don't wonder why people give me grief because its usually just the same three of you. I don't care about your opinion about me. Do yourself a favor and stop wasting your time reading my posts. You have never been an honest help to me without a bunch of rambling before hand. If you have beef with Alabama then so be it. I could care less so your pointless insults about a state mean nothing. I am still trying to give this place a shot, but every time I post something nowadays, a certain few see it fit to insult me in some way. I am just about over it and will spread the word about this place to others that I meet if this is to continue. I don't want to see you guys ruin another persons time in the Subaru community as you have almost mine. Thankfully and surprisingly, I have made a close-knit group of friends and Subaru enthusiasts on Nasioc of all places that are also local to me. This is the forum I started on so I am not throwing it under the bus just yet. A few of you were actually kind enough to help me learn about Subaru's and show me the ropes of modifying one, which is the sole reason I am still on here. Anyone actually have any valuable insight to my question about camber bolts?
Maybe you should have asked which bolts the OP is using, they might be the same you are asking about. Now go get me an iced coffee boy... Now for the OP's question, the clip is a pain in the ass to fit because it acts as a lock on the bolt, sometimes it's best to put the lock washer tab in the hole, then the bolt. Careful not to F-up the threads. Good luck and take your time and if all else fails just get a bigger hammer
You don't need them. Jeff at GTE will refuse to do an alignment with them on the car. lol BTW, My Sister and Mom moved to Fairhope two years ago and love the place. I'd move there in a sec if I could get a job there. So nice and quiet compared to this sh!thole. We were down for New Years Eve and Forth of July by the pier was fun last year, looking to be back again this year. Go Pirates!
Yeah its definitely a great place. If you like small relaxed beach-esque towns its definitely a cool place. Surprisingly enough there are a couple more subie guys down here too. If you are ever down again, stop by Sandra's Place in downtown Fairhope. My family owns it and if you catch me there, I'll hook you up with some free food.
