sorry if this is in the wrong thread but i got a serious question regarding my revlimiter. I installed a new cruise control sensor yesterday and now my check engine is gone but now it doesnt show my speed (MPH) and i cant go past 5,000 RPM on the revlimiter even though its set at 7,000 RPM :wtc: anyone know what the problem is and a place where i can get it fixed?? PLEASE lmk.....
Did you install it yourself, or did you have a shop do it? Its possible that something else was knocked loose/disconnected when the new sensor was installed. If you had a shop do it, take it back. Also, what year and model Subaru do you have?
I'd get ahold of the shop that fixed the wiring issues with my assistance. It very well could be the the wrong part for the vehicle. It may be correct for the VIN, but it is most likely incorrect for whats in it.
