I have been going between two models the sig sauer 556R or a arsenal ak47. I have heard mixed reviews of the 556R, and was seeing if anyone had hands on experience with it and what their thoughts were?
I don't have experience with those 2... I went with the Norinko Mak90 which is pretty awesome. The only brand/model that gets bashed on the regular is Century Arms.. The WASR line. They get imported to take a single stack mag, then modified to take a double stack. If its not done right, the mags don't sit correctly and "wobble". One thing I will suggest from my last year of building up my arsenal.. is to check out Buds Guns online. Cheaper prices, fast shipping.. no GA tax... PS... I've never had any issues with Sig... I recently purchased a Sig 716 (AR10 type 308)... its amazing. They make good stuff.
I have a Saiga AK 7.62. These are made by Izhmash with makes Russian Military version. I would say best bang for the buck. I'd also see about a Norinco, those are quality rifles. http://www.classicfirearms.com/russian-saiga-ak-variant http://www.izhmash.ru/eng/product/akm.shtml
