I just applied the 3M partial taillight tint strips sold by RockBlocker on NASIOC to my 2006 STi. These tint strips cover the silver portion of the tails that are very Altezza like. (I'm not a huge fan of the over chromed look.)

The material was thicker than I thought it would be, and it wasn't too difficult to work with when misting the taillight surface and tint with a water and dish-soap solution before application.

The computer cutout patterns weren't an exact fit but more of an EXACTO fit. I didn't really have to stretch the material but a fair amount of trimming of the material was required to get the line I wanted between the tinted and brake light areas.

Also application would have been easier with a heat gun, my hair dryer needed more oomph.

As of yesterday I had a few small bubbles that may go away as the material cures.

I'll be glad to post pictures as soon as I can locate my digital camera.

For the bubbles, either let it cure in the sun or take a safety pin and poke a small hole in them. That will allow you to work the moisture out.

3m stuff is fun to work with isnt it :D

Yeah I really wanna see it. Been thinking about doing something with my tails but nothing has really done it for me up to this point.
