2015 STI comes with 2 years of free maintenance and I figured if they're going to do the labor for free then i'd bring in my own oil. Has anybody had an issue with bringing their own? Specifically T6 5w-40? Manual states I can use this weight out of necessity. If not then I guess i'll just rock Amsoil, Motul, or Pennzoil Ultra.
Do they supply their own oil, or do you have to pay for that? I'd say use whatever oil they have/recommend for as long as they are doing the service. That way, if something happens, you can say that the dealer has done all of the maintenance with their parts/oil...
Yeah that makes sense. They supply the oil. I guess looking at all of these UOAs and forum oil topics can drive oneself crazy.
