and he's bringing me a 20G or an FP Green. Which would you ask for and do you think PE650's and alcohol injection would be enough fueling? On a side note, anyone want to buy my Deadbolt Kong II (aka PE1820 clone) for 600?
I think you'll definately need bigger injectors. Have you looked at how the SZ55s have stuff have performed on the hybrid engines? They seem to be a very nice and powerful turbo.
I would green because the spool up will be close to the 20g but the topend will be better. The 650's should be good with the alcohol but why spend the money when you can mod your stock injectors. Unless you already have the 650's. I've had the 650's for almost 3 years and on my EJ257 long block with a FP td05h18g 8cm2 the IDC is in the low 90's at red line. At red line it can only hold 16psi and the afr is 11.0-10.9 (93 octane).
I cannot run a front mount on my car because I tow it behind my rv and the tow bar is in the way. I have been told the Green would be best with a FMIC so it looks like I am going to go with the 20g. I think the pe 650s and meth would be enough. But if I sell them for 300 and get 600 for my turbo it will be a no cost upgrade to the 20g. I have a set of modded stockers that are on their way to rc engineering.
oh man you are gonna like the 20g. i would get it cliped and get the 19lb wastegate spring. also jason has modded sti injectors on his so your modded ones should work just fine.
