Yay, got a new speedlight for my d70 thanks to JL889 Took some demo photos with it last night. Keep in mind that I have zero experience with speedlights. The following were taken outside around 11-12 (it was dark)
snag a Sto-Fen Omni Bounce for your Nikon SB-600. You will LOVE it and it will help diffuse the light when you can't do wall or ceiling bounce or don't want the colors to pull. It's cheap too. Sto-Fen Omni Bounce for Nikon SB-600 I'm glad you got the sb-600. You wanna go shoot around atlanta some time?
yep, you can pick up the ebay wireless trigger and receiver for like 30$ thats what I was using at firs to fire my Sb-800 off camera at first. May be going back to using them so I can get the 800 off the top of the camera.
the remote was 12$ shipped from amazon. The d70 has a remote IR controller built in so you can remote control the flash on the camera or you can have the camera trigger a remote flash(s). 4 or 5 SB flashes all synced up looks like the end of the world Edit:http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Wireless-Control-Digital-Cameras/dp/B00007EDZG
Yeah I just found out about the remote IR built in to my D80...haven't had a chance to try it with my SB600 but it's exciting. I' still trying to figure it out..
take 8 sb-600's, point at 25 degree angle towards center, flash with a second delay and it looks amazing. I used a 1.8 f10 and it was like iron man:naughty:
So this helps take better night pictures? Alex, one you have wheels on and I have mine, let's do some picture day. I'll have clean up the car with the full zaino detail.
