    Hello Everyone.

I am sorry to report that a scooby is down for the count in the SE. I had an accident on Thurday night/Friday morning. My car is totaled. I dodged a dog(quite large, thought it wa sa deer at first) and lost control. The car ended hitting and enbankment and rolling. I don't know how many times.

I am fine phsyically. Bruised shoulder and cuts here and there from the glass. The car was upside down when it stopped.

    Now for the pics

ah dude...sorry to hear man. most important thing is your okay. cars can be replaced...you can't. i always told myself, and even my wife that if some animal jumps in front of the road to just hit it...to not try and miss it cause stuff like this happens. i know natural instincts though might pursuade you to try and swirve. again sorry to hear and glad your okay.

Glad you're ok, sorry about the car though. My bro-in-law has his 05 STi for sale if you are looking to go that route and I think ShaneSTi has an 03 SRT 4 for sale if you want to slum with me in the rental car catagory.

    Cheers and heal soon.

Glad you're alright. Why a Z and not another WRX ?

I have wanted a 2 seat sports car for a long time. Even before the WRX. I loved my WRX but I know if I get another Subaru it will end up modded and I don't want to be tempted to spend money. :p

If plans fall through I will most likely end up in a STI. But right now thats plan B.

I test drove a 350Z and I honestly was unimpressed. The visibility sucks, the acceleration is sub-par, especially for a 265? hp V6 engine, and the handling was pretty terrible. It could've been because I test drove the base model rather than the track or enthusiast edition.

If you are gonna buy a Z make sure to buy the track edition. The base Z does not come with a LSD, which totally sucks. I wish nissan and mazda would get around to putting limited slips on their sports cars standard. Too bad you weren't looking earlier, my husband was selling his s2k. Glad you are alright. My vote is for an STi but i am slightly partial ;).

glad to hear you're alright dude. that's a pretty harsh condition for any car... but it is a testiment to how well they will hold up.

the base trim of the Z does not have an LSD. But the next one up the enthusiast does. :)
STI is looking to be more than I want to spend.

well, the only rx-8 that doesnt come with a LSD is the base automatic model, and idk how many people buy that, so im sure most of them on the road have LSD's

I am not looking for an STI at this time. :)

If that changes I will let you know. At this time I am well on my way to being a 350z owner. If you guys won't run me off I will see you at the next dyno day after she is broken in. :)
