Well Guys and Gals, I’ve moved on. But don’t worry; I’m still here in Atlanta. Starting Monday though, you’ll have to come to Batlground to find me. That’s right; all the same services will now be available at Batlground Motorsports Engineering in Smyrna. The best reason I can give is that I believe that this is a much better LONG term opportunity for me. I think there are really cool things happening at Batlground, and now I can have real dyno days. As always, if you need anything, give me a call. If you need any parts or anything, just call Mike at Batlground 770-319-9605. Thank you all for your support, Siegel
I knew it! vteckidd said something new was up at batlground, and some people hinted towards it! Congrats!
I can't say I didn't see this coming. With the change in SOA policy I thought this was gonna happen. I am happy for you Scott. Glad to see you on my side of town. Wanna try and tune a NA rotary? ( I am kidding I don't have EM for her...yet)
I would assume so. Also Scott, you will probably see a lot of my coworker. He has a SR swapped s14. Its red and his name is Jessie. I am happy for you. When I saw the post by slow I knew it had something to do with you. Either you were leaving SoG or SoG performance got spun off to separate it from the dealer. Turns out it was the former.
Jeez, the biggest reason for my buying as SOG is leaving. I look forward to meeting you in the future Scott. I hope everything works out for the best for you. I hear nothing but good things about you and you deserve the best. Chris
Horrah, thanks for not moving Scott... I'll need a tune this winter and I heard some rumors that you were seeking employment else where. I'm glad you will still be local! Best of luck with your new position!
man, this kicks ass! I know where we will be going when we need to get our car tuned Batlground FTW! -- Brian
You can still protune right? I'll be needing one in the next couple months... Any idea on pricing yet or is it too soon?
Tuning at BG is $157 per hour on CC and $150 an hour with the cash discount. Prices should work out near the same as before. That dyno should speed up the tuning SS
Then congrats on the move, I hope it goes well. I'm still trying to get some dates together for your possible trip south.
Yes congrats, ill have to come by and introduce myself sometime next week. Gotta cut some stickers for de. This sounds like a great move with dan and tracy racing so much as of late. 2 great tuners is better than one. I'm also curious as to what will happen to sog's performance business!!!?
My guess is the tightening of SOA policy caused SoG to close the performance devision. This was my first thought when Will posted the update of what was going to happen.
Id like to welcome scott and the level of professionalism he brings. We look forward to meeting and tuning/selling parts to everyone that is a believer in Scott Siegel. Any quetions please email MIKE@BATLGROUND.COM. With the addition of Mr.Kidd/Vteckidd/Mike Corvey and Mr. Siegel, all we can see is positive growth. Hope to see you soon! -Batlground Family
time for a shop to open close to my house...lol...Yea I know wishful thinking. Glad its moving in the up up for you guys.
Hey Scott, I'm glad that you moved on for brighter future!! I have some Q for you. I'll give you call tomorrow.
Should be lots of good things coming from this. The Batlground STI will be making lots of apperances all over the southeast. Matt
Did you google search for a Chipolte before making the move...I fear Matt may have to buy a franchise and open it on Windy Hill...will you be tuning other makes/models now as well?
FYI there is a chipolte on cobb parkway in the parkinglot of the Bed Bath and Beyond/ Sports Authority....
Yeah, I had to make sure there was an easily accessible Chipotle. Though, when I have changed jobs in the past, I have changed restaurants. I was actually sponsored by a Subway before. Then again, the atmosphere at Chipotle is hard to beat. I need somewhere that's: 1) quick 2) cheap 3) good food 4) conducive to conversation, even in large groups Siegel
So Scott will Zach's car be built at BatlGround now or is SOG doing it? I heard in two weeks it was gonna be delivered.
So what kind of tuning will be available? I know Dan has used various 'open ecu' pieces of software, enginuity, etc...as on my car... Just curious what all can be done now with the combination of both tuners...
^^ yes, curious as well. are you bringing your ecutek skilz? if so, I will be paying you a visit soon.
This is... different. On the good side there's a better place to get real stuff and it's closer to me. On the bad side we're not going to have as much of an inside guy with SOA. What's going to happen to Will? He's going to go crazy there by himself. With that dyno your numbers are going to get better too! So everyone with a SS tuned car, add 15HP to your chart... It's like Christmas for us all!
??? I thought their Dynojet was verified to read inline with what TopSpeed's Dynojet read. We had Mere's car dyno'd at both TopSpeed and SOG, and the numbers were identical. -- Brian
