As of this afternoon I no longer own my old EJ. 94 Civic Ex to those of you who haven't been tracking chassis codes on Honda's for the last few years or whatever.

It was kind of sad to see her go because I got so many miles and memories out of her... :wtc: ...But it's not like I haven't moved on to better things. Besides she was costing me about 1500 dollars a year to insure and keep up, so see ya later Civic. :wavey:

It's true. But not with the D16. A lot of Honda guys are swapping in K motors now that the mounts and stuff are readily available. 200 horses makes a 2500 lbs. car move pretty well.

they actually weigh around 2200 lbs depending on the exact model but theres a couple bull interior natural asspirated ej's with k20's running mid 12's on pump gas wich i find really impressive

I had a 95 civic ex..I loved the car..great fun..cheap to mod..easy to blow up with nitros (dont ask me how i know :keke: )a buddy of mine had a boosted d16z6 civic..he put down 230whp and 170wtq....not bad numbers out of a 1.6 liter sohc motor..but there is not much more you could do without strengthening the internals..I like the civic still to this day..i think the new ones are really hot!

The hatches are definitely lighter than the coupes. Especially the EX's with power everything, AC, sunroof and premium stereo system.

If I were to buy another one for shits and giggles it would be a 92 to 95 hatch. The 4 speed tranny would be nice with a boosted or blown D series motor too. But for now I don't need and can't afford two cars. Not very well anyway.
