So in anticipation of my Rota SVNs (18x8.5) coming back from Miller's powdercoating (chose Bronze Chrome for the color), I have a couple of questions. Keep in mind... 2005 STi First off I have RCE Yellows on stock struts right now with the stock BBSs... I am putting on 18x8.5 SVNs that I think have 245/35/18 RE01Rs on em (don't have the tires in front of me so I can't tell for sure). #1 Is it likely that I will have any rubbing issues? #2 Both of my inner fender liners in the front are jacked... broken and hanging on by a thread (or zip ties) and I want new ones... where should I buy em and what exactly should I get? Is there a different one for Sti vs WRXs? Just want to make sure before I purchase soemthing I don't need #3 So my front bumper is kinda hanging on by a thread also... The gaps aren't right because I've bottomed out a couple of times and they have (I think) broken a couple of clips that hold the bumper on. Who should I go to, in order to get it all secured (including putting the inner fender liners in). And how much do you think it'll cost to replace the clips, etc without any paintwork...? I just want to go ahead and get all this chit done before I get the wheels/tires back... The plan is to get the wheels back at the end of next week and take em along with the tires over to GTE and get them mounted/balanced/installed and go ahead and get another alignment at that time....
Well, seeing as though I absolutely LOVE Allpro (my Bronco's over there with John and just got work done on the Suby last week with Brandon and the crew) I will definitely hit em up in the AM...
To start the fender liners are cheap at the dealer. I think like 40 bucks. The clips and stuff for the bumper I bought there also like 1.50 each. The liners are car specific. As faras your fitmment goes for your new wheels, you should be fine with no rubbing. I ran the same wheels in 18x10 with mild rubbing due to 255-35s. My offset was 30. I think the dealer keeps those things in stock. Call s.o.g. and ask for sumar she takes care of me usually. Hope this helped
