Does anyone know where I can get the tread shaved on a new tire, around ATL? I have one tire I need to replace on my STI. The tread is about ½ worn so I don’t want to replace all 4 nor do I want to run 3 worn and one with full tread.

Gran Turismo East in Chambodia. Ask for Kieran...he can be an ass but really is a nice guy once you get to know him.

They've been shaving tires for years and have excellent service and pricing.

I'll third GTE. I had to replace a tire and when I brought it in they said I was close enough to my other tires that it didn't need to be shaved. I had them do it anyway. Good guys there.

Thanks for the recommendations. I went with Gran Turismo East because it is only a couple of miles from where I work. How did I miss it for all these years?!?!?!? Kieran helped me out. I am very happy with their prices, service and quality of the work. Two thumbs up.

Subaru says 1/4" is the maximum tread circumference difference, right?
