Anechoic tiles are rubber or Sorbothane-like tiles containing thousands of tiny voids, applied to the outer hulls of military ships and submarines, as well as anechoic chambers. Good luck with that

my submarine was covered in them. they're pretty fun to fuck with, because things like to bounce off them. we used to try and bounce shit off them and hit people on the pier with it late at night
