Im thinking of a short shifter and was looking at COBB's adjustable

Any pros and cons ?? with the COBB SS ?

For the install does one have to go under the car.
I dont have my ramps nor my jacks here with me

I was looking at the install video at HSPN
    http://videos.hspn.com/?videoid=30
and they went under the car to get a wrench for the reverse gear lockout. but i dont think a 5 speed has that.

I have the Kartboy shifter and am very pleased with it. Install was incredibly simple with no need to go under the car at all. The cobb shifter, if I recall, had height adjustability as well. If thats the case, to me, it just looked like one more thing that could wear out...

i dont think u need to go under the car, i got me a kartboy shifter and brushings btw the shifter was hard as shyt to do needed a little customizing and then the brushings didn't fit my car so i didn't put them in.,. btw cobb on the other hand is a good shortshifter.. stick with it

From everything Ive read / seen, the Cobb SS is one of the best to go with.

very easy install. dont even need a mallet if youre tough enough :)

the only thing i dont like about my cobb ss is that there are too many options for adjusting.
