I know some of you guys on here are running a RPS six-puck sprung hub clutch... Are any of yall getting a grinding/rattle noise in gear on deceleration??? If im in gear anywhere between like 3-4.5k RPMs and i let off the throttle i get an unusual rattle noise that i believe may be coming from the clutch. Anyone else have something like this???

I have a SPEC clutch that does the same thing, it sounds like a rattle, also sounds kind of scratchy at times. Have no clue what it is.

I used to get a rattling/ scratchy sound, but I didn't have an upgraded clutch. Come to find out it was my rear diff. Just a thought.

Check the clutch line mounting. Mine did that, and the clutch line was not secure in the mount. Now its gone.

Is this a fairly common problem?? Also, can you be more specific on the mount?? Is it the bracket for the rubber hose section or for the section of metal line?? Where is the mount located as well? Thanks for the input!!!

If you did a lighter flywheel they often cause a rattle sound on decel...

Nah, its a resurfaced factory flywheel.

I found the mount you were talking about genya, the little c-clip was loose and after tightening it down properly the sound is gone!! Thanks for the help everyone!

Its on the firewall right beneath the pitch mount. The c-clip is right where the rubber hose connects to the metal line.

My noise actually came back after tightening the bracket, but i found the little white clip on the bracket broken, so the line is still loose, LOL. So ill get the clip sometime soon and see if it goes away.
